 Annual Membership Appreciation Crawfish Boil

Ray and Lorie Johnson of Entergy sip a soft drink while just chillin' out at the Members Appreciation Crawfish Boil. 

Actually the afternoon was quite pleasant. There was a beautiful breeze that made the late afternoon a fantastic event!

 

Dean Russ Trahan of the College of Engineering at the University of New Orleans peels crawfish with the best of them.  He, his lovely wife,  Lynette, his son Russell III (Rusty) and my corn eating friend Connor Yarbrough (Russ’s grandson, who was visiting from Oklahoma), ate a table full of crawfish!!

 We boiled up almost 300 lbs of crawfish, tons of smoked sausage, corn on the cob and some of our Shrimp Breaux Bridge Pasta.  But I think the most sought after side dish was our Hot Dogs with our Chili from Hell!
